todae is e end of my 4th week in petals.. this means dat i still hab 3 weeks there and i am moving on to ocbc.. when i finish wif petals, this means i hab finish half of my attachment lo... realli wan tym to fly abit faster can?? haha.. anyway next week i oni work 5 daes cuz its new yr!! and we oni report on 1st of feb.. and our cashier wan us to bring oranges to bai nian wif her.. hehe.. she sae gt red packets frm her la.. but i dunno.. haha
todae i was promoted to captain and prasanna n bikash working wif mi.... took order 4 a table of 13 but i oni take 7 of them e other half taken by e other waiter.. cuz too many liao le.. and e captain order is making mi go crazy!!~ but heng gt nth wrong oni kitchen gib 1 more sea perch and make mi blur.. but al e kitchen staff are quite gd.. but staff meal still abit no standard la.. next tym i take photo of it..

2dae started out quite ok.. had lunch den went to work.. tot i was pantry todae but short of staff of aboyuer took over my place n i am e waiter 4 station 3 wif justin as captain n quek hin as runner... abit sian la.. but cannot blame. anyway somebody say b4.." headwaiter muz plan e staff nt according to their needs" so i b e waiter lor.. but e captain abit gong la..
during 2nd briefing, a head 4 f&b or wadeva came to gib some comments on us.. sae we muz take smaller pens so it wun b ugly and it wun look heavy too.. but we muz bring al those tings lei.. so no choice too... but e briefing was quite ok..
i oso took 2 captain orders cuz a trainer ask mi to do so.. i oso dunno y he din ask e waiter but nvm.. i go help lo.. quite cooperative wif my station members.. other den 1 la.. but i dun wan write down wad happen.. haha.. gt 1 table order set meal.. so muz do e yu sheng lor cuz its e appetizer mah.. i tot is captain do but e SFT ask mi go.. so juz do wadeva i can remember, heng still ok la.. den e qn they ask i oso can ans.. n they are veri friendly.. wish i zuan da qian.. haha.. e old couple is quite gd..
hmm.. gt abt 3o plus reservation.. but overall we oni gt abt 5o plus pax n we are busy lk hell.. anyway time passed faster when we hab tings to do.. haha.. e funny ting todae is e fire alarm rang when many ppl eating.. ahaha.. i oso gt shock den mr christopher low faster go check wad happen.. its oni e treasury building de ppl trying someting.. tmd.. al e guest oso faster bill.. at dat pt of tym gt 3 tables wanna bill.. haha.. n its abit noisy too.. plus we were commented dat in case of "emergency" we muz noe wad to do..
anyway i can reach hm so late is oso thanks to a grp of bhb ladies hu sit till 11 lk dat den wan leave.. everyone was so... and they buay zi dong de.. going bath liao....

haven been blogging since dunno how long liao so now blog since i am free n gt some tings to write down... 2dae al my shift de fellow colleagues stand 4 abt 45 mins during 2nd briefing.. y? someting wrong wif us again.. haiz... after this scolding.. though its abit funny.. but its tym to reflect on wad hab we been doing 4 these few weeks.. sometimes realli wonder is it al our fault?? sometimes realli wanna noe are there anybody hu noes dat there is a grp of ppl suffering in a pathetic restaurant hu works 4 free n on top of dat still nd pay sch fees n get free scoldings?? this is realli bad man.. din realli hab appetite to eat after he scolded al of us.. and he asked mi so many qn dat i cannot ans him.. sad.. din realli noe wad to sae now..
anyway.. i did my first flambe 2nite..cuz cfbos first den follow by A class and my name was quite infront so i was asked to do it lor... i am e 2nd last person somemore.. but todae quite busy 4 my station liao lei.. but heng gt prasanna n rubun they al to help mi out in some parts la.. if nt i dunno wad i shld do man.. 4get to flame e suzette so i oni did it when e trainer ask mi..but heng gt flame.. if nt veri throw face.. wahaha.. though was sad dat we kenna scolded but a guest brighten up my dae.. she was so friendly man.. and i tok to her more than any other guest.. toking to her is damn nice.. even deborah oso agree dat she is nice.. wahaha.. we even wanted to offer umbrella service 4 them!!~~ haha..
but when leaving tym oso sian.. e way we were told dat we could leave.. was realli... arghhhhh!!!~~~~

whooo.. this is e end of 3rd week liao lo.. hmm.. dunno can sae fast anot.. frm being scared of attatchment till now.. can oso sae quite fast la.. anyway ytd was black fridae but i din notice it haha.. instead i enjoyed myself much..
juz sae ytd.. we were asked to decorate e restaurant, den we were given al those small fake oranges wif a plastic ting to hang on e flower lor.. but some were tangle together so muz separate them into a set of 2.. but david juz hang everything together and he was commented dat he was first tym celebrating chinese new yr so he hang e oranges in a lumb lk a coconut.. haha.. e way e trainer sae it was damn funny.. mi n van laugh till cannot stand it lor..
todae is when we nd to re-arrange e tables back 4 lunch as todae gt breakfast.. and we nd to move 2 tables together w/o separating them cuz al e settings are made.. but van can't move e table and she squat down n laugh.. made al of laugh man.. but heng e trainer din come out n scold ud.. he shld noe we are playing la.. cuz we were so noisy in e beginning.. hmm.. wif 1 trainer.. we can sae quite funny n tense at times cuz his jokes n serious in work.. but 4 e other.. he speak veri soft.. hardly can hear him but he is quite nice at work.. u can oni hear him when he scold ppl so.. haiz.. 2 oso gt their own gd.. haha
siann... next week is night shift..

wahahahahaha.. kenna scolded by trainer todae.. haha.. cuz we slack lor.. those tiny tiny little tings we din do and we are chit chatting at e back of e hse.. but other station's allignment oso din do properly la.. cuz e trainer buay tahan us liao.. so he scolded al of us nor..
haiz.. its oso our fault la.. but e funny ting is e way he scold us la, dunno how 2 explain but those hu were there wanted to laugh but cannot.. anyway.. its oso gd dat he scold us la.. if nt, we wun learn anything de lor.. after scolding he tok softly again.. din realli can hear him.. anyway this sat no banquet liao.. so nd go petals.. e gd news is we no nd work on 28-31 of jan.. so start work at 1st of feb... quite ok la.. but tink still gt long way to go...

went to malaysia ytd after my banquet duties in sch.. same ting again.. rot.. din do much tings too... other den counting cutleries n al dat cuz no function nor.. i realli muz sae dat e food is nt nice lor.. e vege.. omg.. but its still better den e staff meal la..
ytd slept at abt 12 plus cuz i was chatting wif my aunt lor.. tok till she sian liao go slp so mi n my sis oso go slp cuz nth to do oso n its late liao.. din noe wad we were suppose to do 4 this morning so we slept late.. but we slp till 7 plus n gonna call to prepare to go " shan shang" to e fen mu la.. but tian bu zhuo mei.. keep raining n there was nt enuff umbrella 4 al la.. but most of us were drenched cuz nd take umbrella on a hand n joss stick on e other.. how to shelter neh?
den after al dat, we went back hm.. den al e "adults" were busy cooking den e others al go bath.. after everything done.. we started to bai bai lor.. den after burning incense paper n al dat we started our buffet..
slept 4 a while b4 started pasking up n prepare to cum back nor.. was still raining, dunno when will stop lei.. 2ml aboyeur liao.. sian.. muz go vacuum floor~~

so tired.. juz woke up frm a long slp.. slept at 3 plus den juz wake up at 11 plus.. siann.. 2ml gonna go sch 4 banquet again liao.. next week gonna hab 2 banquet.. but heng 2ml gt erica den sat gt yan wen.. so get erica de no. first den meet her in sch.. haha.. but still dunno meeting elieen anot..
i was a captain ytd.. taking order was ok wif mi.. until a lady ask mi 4 wine.. wahaha.. juz manage to tell her abt e promotion de and e hse pour de.. e rest is e wine waiters job liao.. cuz i dun hab e list.. haha.. ytd morning had a bad stomach ache.. dunno is it gastric or wad.. but i had these probs long ago too.. it juz come on n off.. so sick.. den e staff meal was........ din realli hab appetite to eat so juz eat a little lor..
haha.. realli muz thanks yan wen 4 nt putting many ppl over here.. haha.. muz admit u treat mi quite gd la.. haha.. cuz 1st station gt table of 5 and station 2 gt table 4 14 and 4.. but i oso gt help them wif table turnover n al dat la.. cuz we oso wan go hm de mah.. so juz help each other here n there lor.. haiz.. din sign out ytd.. too eager to go hm.. when i realise n went back.. i saw e trainer.. siann.. we were told to sign off on mon..
next week gonna hab a "quiz".. dun test mi on flambe la.. i hate it man.. but now muz start to memorise al e hse pouring 4 bar ba.. if nt sure fail e quiz de.. hope its nt dat difficult ba...

i noe i put a tsp in e honey jug la.. but can b wash rite?? do u nd to shout as if i had thrown away a billion dollars?? n do u noe dat if u dun tell mi hu having cakes, i cannot set e cutlery + if e cakes r ready n there isn't any cutlery u wan e guest to use hand eat is it?? den who teach u 2 bring coffee n tea w/o a saucer n tsp?? i was so pai seh when they requested 4 e 2 tings.. i tell u dat e ting u took is nt chilli u dun believe.. den kanna comment.. so pai seh lor..

haven been blogging since mon.. haha.. too lazy to update my happenings in petals.. cuz this week nite shift den its late to blog at nite.. though can la.. but i busy watching wanyu, bath and getting rest.. so lazy type nor..
gone through these few daes crapping wif rubun, prasanna, bikash,van, daveenna and almost al e ppl working wif mi.. thanks to them so dat i can pass my daes abit faster.. n bikash sae he wan treat mi play pool.. haha... ytd which means 5/1 was quite a busy dae 4 my station.. but everything went off smoothly.. but a table of 6 came at 8 plus den eat till 10 plus.. everyone waiting 4 them lor.. but nvm la.. cuz they nt fussy.. and they treat their maid damn nice..
learn crepe suzette todae.. haiz.. exam topic.. we r gonna b test on mocktails, cocktails, flambe.. dunno hab anymore mah.. but this is wad i remember.. and 4 flambe w nd do is lobster bisque n e suzette lor.. siann.. no flame minus mark..
dinner was e best 4 these 2 weeks.. chicken rice.. but chicken abit no taste lei.. haha.. i nt e oni 1 saying hor.. yan wen n deborah oso agree wif mi...

2nd dae of 2006 liao... ytd go pray.. cuz last yr fan tai sui.. den go eat wif my whole family... it was abit hot dere.. so my father sweating lk hell.. wahaha..
todae woke up earlier den i wan to cuz my dear fren ellina called n ask mi pei her.. but i still met gek first cuz we yue hao le... so go shop 4 my bag lor.. if nt dunno how to go work.. still miss my old bag.. hope this 1 can last longer.. cost mi $26.90.. but i spent most of e $$ on neoprints.. haven upload so put it next tym.. hehe.. but this tym nt better den last tym de.. so we sae save $$ first.. next tym go bugis.. haha... so dere goes my hp bills de $.. still nd save frm al over again..
shared alot of experience of our work at e different outlet.. still abit scared of rosette la.. cuz its a fine dining restaurant lor.. and we still nd test on cocktails liao.. e flambe thing i tink cannot make it la.. muz revise again..
